This Blog will be used to provide information about issues that affect the Miramichi River area and its residents. As a life-long resident of some 70 years on The Miramichi, I have always had an interest in the people who live here on the river. In my experience, you will not find a more warm, friendly, and charitable people anywhere. If someone is in need, there is always someone on The Miramichi who is willing to step-up and help out

Now that is sad. They were almost in my back yard when I lived in injuntown, how I love that word.

I am amazed to see government bureacracy, or perhaps even worse, politics, permit the destruction of a 100 year old, locally owned, family business.
